Topcoat based on an acrylate-polyisocyanate resin combination

KHS Protect is an air-drying and force-drying topcoat based on an acrylate-polyisocyanate resin combination. As the finishing layer of the Korthals C3 coating system, KHS Protect provides hard, chemically resistant, and weather-durable protection for metal substrates.
The coating is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and is available in an almost unlimited color palette; from high-gloss to matte finishes, thanks to the Korthals Pro-Colour mixing system. KHS Protect completes the C3 system and largely determines the aesthetic appearance of the structure.

The acrylic PU base provides excellent weather resistance, UV stability, and long-lasting color retention, even on exposed steel structures.
The cured coating film is hard, wear-resistant, and resistant to chemical exposure. This makes KHS Protect not only decorative, but also a functional part of the protective system.
Dust-dry after 30 minutes. Tack-free after approximately 1 to 2 hours. Ready for assembly after 16 hours.

The product composition provides a more durable and better-performing finish than traditional air-drying coatings.
KHS Protect achieves GT-0 adhesion and cures into a hard, mechanically resistant film. Suitable for structures that are exposed daily to wear or limited chemical contact.
This topcoat is available in a wide range of colors. In addition to high-gloss finishes, semi-matte and matte variants are also available.
Provides excellent resistance to UV radiation and oxidation. Its appearance is maintained even after prolonged exposure to sunlight and weather conditions.

Finishing layer that completes the C3 certification while providing the desired color.

Durable exterior finish for steel structures exposed to weather and intensive use.

Suitable wherever aesthetic requirements are just as important as technical protection.
