Air-drying temperature sensitive paint

Air-drying temperature sensitive paint based on an acrylic resin

This coating serves to visually detect an object’s excess temperature in a simple manner.

Colors

Up to 100°C no color change.
48 hours at 116°C: slight discoloration.
1 hour at 125°C: clear color change 10 minutes at 145°C: color change from pink to blue.
After 10 min. 320°C color change from blue to gray.

Heat resistance

Therm-O-Signal 7-H-14 has good heat resistance up to about 200°C. For higher temperatures, an acrylic/silicone resin-based product is available, heat-resistant up to 400°C and a silicone resin-based product, heat-resistant up to 600°C.
