We have known for a long time that our extremely strong wearing courses provide excellent work on steel, wood and concrete surfaces. The fact that our composite wearing courses now also officially comply with Kiwa assessment guidelines BRL K19143 is a wonderful sign of appreciation! The BRL certificate is in the name of Korthals Group and was awarded on 27 August. We are of course very pleased with this result.
Strict requirements apply to wearing courses, in particular with regard to the adhesion of the system to the underlayer, but also to aspects such as the environment and road safety. Himgrip NT, the wearing course of HIM Products, meets all these requirements:
In addition, Himgrip NT is subjected to a strict test regime in our own laboratory.
Because of this certification, Himgrip NT has now officially been found suitable as a wearing course for use on steel, concrete and wooden bridge decks, both for (heavy) traffic and pedestrians. For these substrates the following system is recommended:
The same type of scattering material can be used on all surfaces and product combinations, namely Mandurax and Guyana bauxite. However, it depends on the type of traffic which layer thickness is required for:
With Himgrip NT you have an extremely strong, wear-resistant, lightweight wearing course with anti-slip properties. This wearing course makes your surface future-proof, can be used for the heaviest traffic classes and is suitable for steel, concrete and wooden surfaces.
