The largest group of color stains are made up by nitro stains. Mostly, these stains are based on dispersed color pigments and mixed together with solvents. In addition to the nitro stains based on color pigments, Soens has also developed a range based on dyes; these are brighter and more transparant. Both the pigments and dyes are highly light-fast.
Our nitro stains are fast-setting. They can be painted on. Also, the stains are effective on all types of wood. The nitro stains can be applied with a paint spray gun, brush or roller. After a short drying time the nitro stain can be wiped with a cloth. After dispersion nitro stain quickly dries and can be relacquered.
