Briosil 6-7360P Primer

Briosil 6-7360P primer is a zinc rich primer intended for heat resistant paint systems and is suitable for exterior application on blasted steel. This is because the primer gives the paint system excellent corrosion resistance and has a heat resistance of up to 600°C. Application is by spray application for optimum flow and, in addition, the primer can be applied directly to hot substrates. The layer thickness is about 70 um dry.

Characteristics

Rust resistance

Rust resistance Even after long-term thermal loading or large temperature fluctuations, the paint system continues to form a closed paint film, providing excellent rust resistance.

Chemical resistant

Chemical resistant This system is highly resistant to an aggressive atmosphere, for example _SO2.

UV protection

UV protection The pigments and silicone synthetic resins used form excellent resistance to UV radiation and oxidation.

Solvent-based

Solvent-based Briosil contains a solvent system based on a mixture of xylene and butanol. This promotes processing, flow and fast drying of the lacquer.

Automotive Due to the chemical resistance of gases such as _SO2 and _NOx, this lacquer is suitable for application in the automotive industry.
