Great news! As of February 6, 2020, we are now officially recognised as Known Consignor for airfright shipments. This emphasizes Korthals’s international appeal and continuous strive for an optimal provision of services to our clients. Needless to say, we are very excited with this recognition.
Our new status as Known Consignor confirms that we are authorised to prepare and dispatch airfreight shipments on any aircraft. Our procedures comply with the common security rules and standards, in conformity of EU Regulation 2320/2002.
Being involved in the logistical chain of airfreight shipments, a few of our staff members were trained to meet the requirements related to becoming a Known Consignor. All participants passed with flying colours!
Our staff will be tested on a yearly basis to stay up to date with security procedures regarding airfreight shipments. This way, you are guaranteed safe and proper logistical processing now and in the future.
You can find our KC status in the European register of all companies with the status of Approved Agent or Known Consignor. Our KC status is NL/KC/00701-00.
