Water-resistant lacquers or coatings are crucial when structures, objects, or facilities are exposed to moisture/water. This can be relevant in both indoor and outdoor applications. In environments with high humidity, such as certain production facilities and storage areas, water-resistant lacquers or coatings provide an (additional) sealing layer that protects the materials in question against moisture penetration.
