Heat-resistant coating is silicone based paint, resistant to prolonged heat exposure up to a temperature of 600 °C. Therefore, the protection of ovens, kettles, pipelines, exhausts, heat exchangers and chimneys (both on the inside and on the outside) is optimal.
This paint system is commonly used in the chemical industry, petrochemistry and automotive industry. The heat-resistant coatings are available in two different types, more specifically:
Our primer prevents corrosion, also in case of outdoor use on sand-blasted steel. Application is usually done by spray to ensure the best flow capacity, but can be done with brush.

The varnish film remains closed, even at great temperature changes up to 600 °C, always providing optimal protection.
The top coating can be applied on virtually any surface, even on warm surfaces.
Regardless color, structure or composition, at Korthals fast delivery is always part of the deal.
Due to the chemical resistance against gases such as SO2 and NOx, this varnish is suitable for use in the automotive industry.
Multiple colors are available. However, most pigments do not withstand high temperatures. On request, we’ll review all possibilities we have to define the optimal color. Standard colors are anthracite, black and aluminium.
Due to our unique Pro-Colour mixing system, we ensure a perfect color coating, both now and in the future!
